This case report shows that, although infant seizures linked to 16p11.2 deletion can appear mild at first, some children may later experience developmental or autistic regression, helping families and doctors understand the importance of early genetic testing, close developmental follow‑up, and ongoing monitoring even when early seizures seem to resolve.
