This study examines motor development challenges—such as delays in sitting, walking, muscle tone problems, and cerebral palsy—across nearly 1,000 children with various genetic neurodevelopmental disorders (including those in the Simons Searchlight registry, which includes 16p11.2), helping families understand how motor impairments vary by diagnosis and what to watch for.
