Sluggish cognitive tempo, processing speed, and internalizing symptoms: the moderating effect of age.
All,
This study explores 'Sluggish Cognitive Tempo' (SCT)—a pattern of daydreaming, low energy, and slow responding—and finds that younger children with these traits show a stronger link to slower processing speed, which may help families and clinicians better understand and address attention and cognitive challenges common in children with 16p11.2 syndromes.
