The Selective RhoA Inhibitor Rhosin Promotes Stress Resiliency Through Enhancing D1-Medium Spiny Neuron Plasticity and Reducing Hyperexcitability.
All,
This study found that blocking a protein called RhoA in a specific brain region helped mice resist depression-like effects of stress by improving the health and activity of certain brain cells, which may be relevant to families with 16p11.2 conditions since RhoA signaling is connected to genes in the 16p11.2 region.
